Control whether your landing pages appear in search engine results using the SEO and Sharing settings.

Overview

You can hide your landing pages from search indexes using the SEO and Sharing settings available in your landing page editor. This is useful when you want to keep certain pages private or exclusive to specific audiences.

Hide your landing pages from search indexes

Note: Hiding a page from indexing will also cause any links or downloads found on that page to be hidden from web searches as well. This means those downloadable files or links will no longer be found via web search.
  1. Open the Website tab from your Dashboard.
  2. Click Pages and then select the Landing pages tab.
  3. Locate the landing page you wish to hide from search engines.
  4. Click the … icon.
  5. Select Edit Details from the dropdown menu.
  6. Navigate to the SEO and social sharing settings.
  7. Click to toggle off the Show page in search results setting.
  8. Click Save to keep your changes.
Note: This setting is only available in your standalone Landing Pages and cannot be applied to your standard website pages.
When you disable Show page in search results, Kajabi adds a noindex, nofollow meta tag to the page. This tells search engines not to index the page or follow any links on it. The page will also be excluded from your sitemap.
