Overview

Kajabi allows you to embed third-party audio players on your pages using the Custom Code block. This gives you the flexibility to use popular audio platforms like Spotify, SoundCloud, JW Player, or Apple Music to share audio content with your audience.

Step 1. Find the perfect audio player

The first step is finding which audio player will be best for you and your brand. There are many free audio players to choose from, so deciding which one is best may require a bit of research. Popular choices include: Once your content has been uploaded to a player, the next step is to create a Custom Code Block to embed the code on your site.

Step 2. Add a custom code block

  1. Open the Website tab from the Dashboard.
  2. Select the Pages tab.
  3. Open the page editor for your page. Learn more
  4. In the sidebar panel, click the Section you want to edit or create a new Section.
  5. From the list, select Custom Code.
  6. Your newly created Custom Code Block will generate at the bottom of the Section.
  7. Click Save to keep your changes.

Step 3. Enter the embed code for the third party player

Important: Introducing custom code to your site can open you up to vulnerabilities and potential malware attacks. We recommend using vulnerability tools like VirusTotal or Snyk to scan any custom code that you intend to use and apply certain best practices to help reduce potential impact.
  1. In your page, hover over the existing Custom Code Block you want to edit and click Edit.
  2. In the Code field, paste a copied embed code or enter your custom code. For this tutorial, we used Spotify’s player embed code, but the process should remain the same for all other player embed codes.
  3. Click Save to keep your changes.
