As you go through the application process, you will discover that you need the details of the business handy. Prep for the application by gathering all the information beforehand. For the D-U-N-S application, you will need:- The legal name of the business
- The business address (If you have multiple locations, you will need to apply for a separate D-U-N-S Number for each location)
- Contact information for the business including a main telephone number
- The name of the business owner, president, or CEO
- The legal structure of the business
- The year the business was created
- The primary business industry
- The total number of full- and part-time employees
