When submitting a Branded App to the Apple App Store, providing clear reviewer notes helps Apple’s team understand the app’s functionality. This increases the likelihood of a smooth approval process.

Add reviewer notes

To add reviewer notes:
  1. Inside the app, scroll down to the App Review Information section
  2. Add the text below the following image to the Notes input field:
Add Reviewer Notes Copy and paste the following text into the Notes box. If the line breaks are stripped out while pasting, add them back in for readability.
Important: Replace the sample text inside both sets of < > symbols with your own website information.
---start of text--- BACKGROUND AUDIO We have declared support for audio in the UIBackgroundModes key because it allows a user playing a video to lock their device and to continue listening to the audio content of the video in the background. You can locate this usage of background audio support by clicking through the app until you reach a thumbnail towards the top. Click on that thumbnail to load the video player controls and hit play. Then lock the device and audio from the video will continue to play in the background. SIGN-UP vs SIGN-IN This app offers sign in if a user has already previously been gained access to content. The signup option will display if and only if we are offering content for free for new signups.
