Premium Video is Kajabi’s high-definition (HD) streaming and recording feature in your Courses.
HD greatly improves the visual quality of your video session because it has a higher pixel count than the standard definition (SD) with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels (i.e., 1080p) compared to the standard definition of less than 720 pixels (i.e., 720p).
With Premium Video, you can stream and record your live video sessions in 1080p to improve the viewing experience for your customers.
Pair your Premium Video feature with an HD video recorder (e.g., HD cameras and camcorders) and significantly improve your customers’ overall user experience.
Note:
Lighting can make or break the quality of your video, so be sure you record in a well-lit room. To ensure a high-quality stream, we recommend checking your connection strength before you begin recording.
Set up Premium Video
To enable premium video:
- Open the Products tab from your Dashboard.
- Click Courses.
- Select your desired course.
- Navigate to Settings.
- Scroll down to Live video session.
- Toggle on Enable live video.
- Select Premium Video to enable.
- Click Save to keep and apply your changes:
