What is reCAPTCHA?

To protect your website from spam and abuse, a Google service, reCAPTCHA, ensures that each contact submitted to your site is reputable. When it comes to protecting your site and designing a frictionless, user-friendly interface we do not take it lightly. That is why Kajabi has implemented reCAPTCHA to protect your site with the least obtrusive type available. You may recognize reCAPTCHA from various sites that prompt you to perform the task of selecting images of crosswalks, traffic lights, or cars. Rather than the manual approach of checking boxes with certain images in them, the invisible reCAPTCHA is only invoked when it detects potentially malicious traffic. Learn more about reCAPTCHA.

How reCAPTCHA helps a business

Forms on Kajabi are set to use double opt-in by default, but if you choose to disable double opt-in, your Forms may be at risk for disreputable submissions. What is a double opt-in? This is where reCAPTCHA can help. With reCAPTCHA, Forms that do not use double opt-in will still be protected by preventing bots or other potentially malicious individuals from completing your Forms. With Kajabi, you can feel confident knowing that your site is protected so that you can continue to share the value you have to offer with a healthy mailing list.

Enable reCAPTCHA

  1. Open the Settings tab from your Dashboard.
  2. Click Form Settings under the Site Settings section.
  3. Then, click Add reCAPTCHA to single opt-in forms to enable.
