An Email Sequence is a series of emails sent with pre-set time intervals to contacts after they are subscribed to the sequence via trigger-based automation. While an Email Sequence can be a crucial part of your web-based marketing strategy, there are times when you may want to disable the Email Sequence for some time, preventing further emails from being sent. There are two steps to disabling an Email Sequence: First, delete all subscription automation triggers. This prevents any future sign-ups for that Email Sequence. Next, bulk unsubscribe your contacts from that Email Sequence. This prevents any further emails from being sent to those who were previously subscribed.

Disable an Email Sequence

To delete all subscription automation triggers:
  1. From the Kajabi Dashboard, select Marketing > Email Campaigns.
  2. Click Sequence.
  3. Select the Email Sequence you wish to edit.
  4. Click Subscribe Triggers to view the subscribe triggers for that Email Sequence.
  5. Select Edit next to the subscribe trigger.
  6. Click Delete, then confirm you wish to delete that trigger.
  7. Repeat this process for each subscribe trigger for that Email Sequence:
To bulk unsubscribe contacts from an Email Sequence:
  1. From the Kajabi Dashboard, select Contacts > All Contacts.
  2. Click the Select All box to select all your contacts.
  3. Use the Bulk Actions dropdown menu then choose Unsubscribe from Email Sequence.
  4. Choose which Email Sequence you wish to unsubscribe your contacts from, then click Submit:
