An ebook is a popular digital product you can sell on Kajabi without building a full Course. By pairing a Ghost Offer with an Automation, you can accept payment and deliver the file directly to each customer’s inbox.
Create a Ghost Offer
To sell an ebook or any resource or service that does not use a Kajabi Product, you will need to create a Ghost Offer. On Kajabi, a Ghost Offer is an Offer without a Kajabi-created digital Product included.
- Open the Sales tab from your Dashboard.
- Select + New Offer.
- Enter your Offer Title.
Important: Do not select a Product to add to the Offer.
- Select a Payment Type from the dropdown menu.
- Click Create.
Create an Automation
Create an Automation within your Offer to make sure your ebook is delivered promptly after purchase:
- Open the Sales tab from your Dashboard.
- Select your Offer.
- Locate the Automations section at the bottom of the page.
- Click + Add Automation.
- From the WHEN dropdown, select “Offer is purchased”.
- From the THEN dropdown, select “Send an email”.
- Ensure To the person is checked.
- Enter your email’s Subject and Body copy, including a line of text that will be used as a link (ex. “Download Now”).
- Highlight the line of text to be used as a link.
- Click the Upload File icon to add your ebook (as a pdf file) to the body of your email.
- Select your ebook from your file manager and click Open.
- Click Ok and Save.
