Account details control your name, email address, avatar, social profile, and API credentials. You can update these settings at any time from the Account Settings page.

Update account details

  1. Open the User Menu by clicking your Avatar in the upper-right corner of your Dashboard.
  2. Select Account Settings.

Details

Update your account details:
  • Change your Name
  • Locate your Account ID
  • Update your Email address
  • Add your Affiliate PayPal email
  • Add your Phone number
  • Change your Time zone
  • Upload an image for your Avatar to be displayed on your site

Email

The email address used to log into your Kajabi Account. Update your email in your account details to change the email associated with your Kajabi Account.
Note: If you receive an error that the email address has already been taken, it means that the email is already associated with another Kajabi account.Many email providers allow you to add a ”+” and any word or number to the email (e.g., example+kajabi@example.com), including Gmail, Outlook.com, and Yahoo. In this case, you will still receive email notifications at that email address. However, if their email provider doesn’t support this, you will need to enter a different email address.

Affiliate PayPal email

The Affiliate PayPal Email is used for the Kajabi Partner Program to award you your earned commissions for referrals made as a Partner. Learn to become a Kajabi Partner for details.

Avatar

The Avatar image houses the User Menu dropdown on the dashboard and will only be visible:
  • In your Community product(s) if you make a comment
  • As a logged-in user on your Design tab pages
  • As a logged-in user on your custom Pages if a User Menu section is added to the Header
Customers logged into your site will see either their own uploaded Avatar image or else a default placeholder image. If your customer(s) wish to update their Avatar image, read How Your Customers Can Update Their Information for details.

Social profile

Customize the information displayed publicly in your communities:
  • Bio
  • Location
Your Social Profile will appear in your Community when visitors hover over your Avatar.

API credentials

API Keys are commonly used to integrate two applications. Locate your API Credentials at the bottom of your Account Details. With Kajabi, the API Key and API Secret are commonly used with integrations created with Zapier. Learn How to Use Zapier with Kajabi for details.
