YouTube Live lets you stream directly to your audience through a Kajabi Webinar Funnel. Before going live, you need to enable the required features on your YouTube account and then connect the stream to your Funnel.

Before going live

Before you go live, complete a few steps on your YouTube account. Make sure that the features Live Stream and Embed Live Streams are enabled in your account settings on YouTube.
  1. Log into your YouTube account
  2. Go to your YouTube Studio
  3. Click Settings in the bottom left corner
  4. Select Channel
  5. Click Advanced Settings
  6. Scroll to Other channel settings and click Manage your YouTube Account
  7. Click Channel status and features
  8. Locate the Live streaming and Embed live streams cards and confirm they are enabled. If not, follow YouTube’s instructions on how to enable Live Stream and Live Stream Embedding

Create a Webinar Funnel

  1. Open the Marketing tab from the Dashboard
  2. Click Funnels
  3. Click + New Funnels
  4. Navigate to the bottom of the page and select Legacy Funnels
  5. From the selection of Legacy Funnels, choose Webinar
  6. Click Create Funnel
  7. In the Webinar Type dropdown, choose YouTube Live
  8. Select the Time and Date of the Webinar, the Time Zone, and an Offer you would like your Webinar viewers to purchase

Connect YouTube Live to the Funnel

  1. In your YouTube Studio dashboard, click Create
  2. Select Go Live
  3. Create a title, add time and date, select your audience type, and click Next. This will prompt a streaming preview
  4. In the Popup, click Share
  5. Copy the ID at the end of the link to your clipboard, in this example: https://youtu.be/**u4Y2QyqsKUo**
  6. Head back into the Kajabi Funnel page and click into Webinar Room
  7. Select YouTube Live in the sidebar on the right and paste the ID into Video ID
