Set up a webinar or meeting in Zoom
Note:
The Webinar feature in Zoom is a paid upgrade from the free account. If you’d like to use Zoom completely free, use the Meeting function.
Create a Webinar in Zoom
- Log in to your Zoom account on a web browser
- Select the Webinar tab from the sidebar
- Click Schedule a Webinar
- Title your Webinar, add a description, and choose a date and duration
- Make sure registration IS NOT REQUIRED
- Check that the Host’s video will be on when the webinar starts
- Select Record the webinar automatically if you would like to keep a copy for later use
- Click Save and scroll down on the page to copy your Zoom Webinar link
Create a Meeting in Zoom
- Log in to your Zoom account on a web browser
- Select the Meeting tab from the sidebar
- Click Schedule a Meeting
- Title your Meeting, add a description, and choose a date and duration
- Make sure registration IS NOT REQUIRED
- Check that the Host’s video will be on when the meeting starts
- Select Record the meeting automatically if you would like to keep a copy for later use
- Turn on the Waiting Room
- Click Save and copy your Zoom Meeting link
Generate the Zoom Webinar Funnel
- Open the Marketing tab from the Dashboard
- Select Funnel
- Navigate to the top right corner of the page and select + New Funnel
- From the list of Funnel templates, select Zoom Webinar Funnel
- Click Create Funnel
- In the prompt, create a title, paste your Webinar link, select the date for which your evergreen webinar will begin, and select an Offer if you wish to sell an Offer with the webinar
- Click Generate Funnel
- Navigate to the Event section of the Funnel and toggle on Repeat this Event
- Choose how often you would like this event to repeat, then click Save
