With the Kajabi Creator app, you can generate a 30-second video script for any topic and use your mobile device to either record a video or upload an existing video and add it to a lesson.
If you don’t see the Create tab, visit the App Store (iOS) or the Play Store (Android) and select Update to get the latest features.

Add a video to an existing lesson

To add your video to an existing lesson using the mobile Creator app:
  1. Log into the Kajabi Creator mobile app
  2. From the Dashboard, tap Create
  3. Choose to either Record a video or Upload a video
  4. Record or select your video and use the Play icon to preview. (Optional) Tap Edit at the top right to trim your video
  5. Tap Save and continue to save your video
  6. Tap Search lessons to find an existing lesson
  7. Tap the Draft button to toggle to viewing lessons in Published status
  8. Tap the button displaying a Course title to select a different Course
  9. Select the lesson where you wish to add your video
  10. Tap Publish to add your video to the lesson

To add your video to a lesson using the mobile Creator app:
  1. Log into the Kajabi Creator mobile app
  2. From the Dashboard, tap Create
  3. Choose to either Record a video or Upload a video
  4. Record or select your video and use the Play icon to preview. (Optional) Tap Edit at the top right to trim your video
  5. Tap Save and continue to save your video
  6. Tap Create a lesson
  7. Tap the Select course dropdown menu to select your Course
  8. Use the Select module dropdown to select your Module
  9. Enter a title in the Enter lesson title field and tap Create
  10. Tap Publish to add your video to the lesson

Troubleshooting

Seeing your video in low resolution?

When you record or upload your file, Kajabi’s video partner Wistia encodes the video in various formats to be delivered to all types of devices with varying internet speeds. It can take up to several minutes for Wistia to finish encoding your video files at high quality. If your video doesn’t immediately appear in high resolution, wait about 15 minutes and check again.

Having trouble uploading a video?

Check if your video format is supported by Kajabi. The maximum file size for video uploads is 4GB. If your video file size is larger than 4GB, use a video file compression tool such as Handbrake.
