Overview

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) helps put your business at the forefront of search engines like Google. Optimizing your website can help you rank higher in search results for keywords related to your business, increasing traffic and visibility. SEO fundamentals and tips to improve your Kajabi site’s search engine presence are covered below.

What is SEO?

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization—the practice of optimizing your website to rank higher in search engine results. When users search for a keyword, search engines display a series of results. Each result typically contains:
  • URL
  • Page title
  • Description

Search engine results pages may also include paid ads at the top or bottom of the results.
The higher you rank in search results, the more likely someone will click through to your website. SEO helps you optimize your content to achieve better rankings for keywords relevant to your business. Every page and blog post on your Kajabi site has an SEO and Sharing section where you can set a page title, description, and image.

Page title

You can set a page title in the SEO and Sharing section of any page or blog post. Depending on the search engine, your page title may display below the URL breadcrumb on results pages and on browser tabs.
Search engines may display relevant text from your page instead of your custom title.

Improve page titles for SEO

  • Describe your page content in less than 70 characters
  • Include a relevant keyword when it makes sense
  • Use unique titles for each page
